This year’s Haferland Week will take place between July 31 and August 3, 2025 in several villages in Transylvania. You can enjoy the following programm in Viscri:

The 3rd of August 2025           between 16:00 and 22:00

Location: The fortified church of Viscri and its surroundings

• 16:00 – 17:00  “Our community sings” – concert held by the choir Canta Viscri accompanied by the organist Gerhild Gross in the fortified church – saxon, german and english songs
• 17:00 – 18:00  Exhibition and presentation of some traditions from the Viscri neighborhood (dressing a woman in Saxon costume and exhibition with the signs of the neighborhood) + Presentation of a book with sewing and knitting patterns collected from Viscri

• 18:00 – 19:00 Presentation “25 years Mihai Eminescu Trust” held by Caroline Fernolend

Location: House nr. 160 in the barn 

• 19:00 music and culture in the barn – programm by Johann Markel
