Augsburg-based guitarist Stefan Barcsay will give a benefit concert in support of the renovation of the church in Viscri. The programme will feature modern works by Karlsruhe-born composer Stephan Marc Schneider, who is based in Vienna, including „MEER DER RUHE”, the piece that gives the concert its title, „RICERCARE” and „VERSETTI” to „Der Mond ist aufgegangen” by Johannes X. Schachtner. Likewise, the programme will include music from the classical repertoire, with works by Carl Maria von Weber, Fernando Sor and Heitor Villa-Lobos. Stefan Barcsay will perform all the works as a solo guitarist. He is currently touring Transylvania and was already our guest in 2024.

Admission is free – donations in support of the church renovation are very welcome.
