Construction works

Our fortified church is continuously maintained and cared for. However, after so many centuries, the time has come for more extensive restoration work.

Excavations are currently taking place around the church, work is being carried out on the towers and roofs, and activities inside the church are also clearly visible.

In this spot, we would like to keep our visitors informed about the ongoing works and explain why certain parts of the complex may temporarily be inaccessible. We will also provide regular updates on the progress of the restoration project.

CURRENT NOTICE: The Bell Tower will remain closed to visitors throughout the summer due to ongoing roof restoration works.

The other towers remain open and can be visited. In addition, parts of the churchyard are temporarily closed because of archaeological excavations, and the galleries inside the church are not accessible.

We kindly ask for your understanding and thank you for your patience during these important conservation efforts.
